I'm starting to think it's virtually impossible for Kate Winslet to dress poorly. This gown takes basic strapless up a notch. Love the shoulder strap, love the black detailing on the skirt part of the dress, love her. Love that she called out to her dad in the audience who whistled back to her, love that she FINALLY won an Oscar, and for a Holocaust film no less, as correctly predicted by her hilarious appearance on Extras.
