This weekend, Alex and I went to the Jazz-Age Lawn Party on Governors Island. It was super rad -- there was an old-fashioned pie contest, vintage motorcars and a rollicking brass band! People were dressed up in 1920's attire, like suspenders and straw hats (guys) and silk dresses and fascinators (girls). It was, as they say, super rad.
